Paying it forward

If I was magical and could time travel back to 1930's I would give a poor family the living essentials I would give them Food, Water, A Roof over their head and Everything you'd need to live even the cleaning essentials like a Shower, Toilet, Washing machine and Dishwasher. Digital use would be a great way to spend time and be hopefully happy. Some new clothes would be great too.
